Warning

The calculator presents only informative, approximate results. Determining the consumption rate for yourself, you need to be guided not only by the calculator, but also by other aspects. For example:

  • In hot weather, you need to drink more water, as part of the water is spent on cooling the body.
  • The calculator does not take into account your degree of activity.
  • Harmful working conditions also require additional water consumption, for the speedy removal of harmful substances from the body.

How does the calculator work?

The calculator first of all calculates your normal weight, based on BMI (minimum and maximum limits) based on the specified height. Further, depending on age, the minimum and maximum weights are multiplied by a certain amount of water and you see the result.

Why is the weight not listed?

The rate of water consumption is calculated based on BMI, for your height.

  • BMI 18.5 - lower limit
  • BMI 24.99 - upper limit

Why is my age important?

The fact is that the need of a child's body for water is slightly higher than the need of an adult. An adult person needs 40 milliliters of water per day per 1 kilogram of weight. Children aged 3 to 7 years - 60 ml, from 7 to 14 years - 50 ml per 1 kg of weight.
